The Grand Rapids Symphony returns to the Dogwood Center on Wednesday, March 30 for a sure to be incredible performance! Join us and you will experience a world-class orchestra performing for you live at the Dogwood! And, as a special feature…one of the musical selections will include the artwork of Newaygo County youth as a beautiful and inspiring background! A wonderful evening with a wonderful orchestra!
The program will include conductor John Varineau leading the Symphony in: Mendelssohn The Hebrides, Op. 26, “Fingal’s Cave”; Debussy Afternoon of a Faun; Bizet/Ed. Hoffman Jeux d’enfants featuring images of artwork by Newaygo County youth; and Beethoven Symphony No. 6.
