The Michigan Youth Ballet Theatre will present their “Star Wars Tribute Ballet and Graduation Ball” on Saturday, March 12 at 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. on the Main Stage!
Star Wars Tribute Ballet is an original choreography by Sean France, former soloist with the Royal Swedish Ballet, set to the extraordinary music of John Williams. Relive the romance and adventure as you’ve never seen it before – through the beautiful art of dance. Audience members are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite character.
Graduation Ball is a comedic ballet set it one act to the music of Johann Strauss II and choreographed by Sean France. It takes place at a girls finishing school in the late 1800’s during a ball celebrating the graduating class. The headmistress has invited a boys military school to attend and flirtations, comedy and romance all are present.
