July 17 – Film "Grease" – 7:30 p.m.

May 1, 2012 by Dogwood

greaseJoin in on the fun and kick off the 2012 Baby Food Festival by watching a 1970’s classic! John Travolta solidified his position as the most versatile and magnetic screen presence of the decade in Grease, one of the most successful motion pictures of all time. Recording star Olivia Newton-John made her American film debut as Sandy, Travolta’s painfully naive love interest. Grease was not just a nostalgic look at a simplier decade, peopled with characters of universal appeal, this release is an energetic and exciting homage to the age of rock ‘n roll! The 1978 film is rated PG and runs 110 minutes.
This is a “Help the Arts Help the Community” event. Please bring a nonperishable food item in place of purchasing a ticket. All food items will be donated to Love INC in Newaygo.  Black Box. 7:30 p.m.
