July 13 & 14 – Summer Youth Theater presents "Anne of Avonlea" – 7:30 p.m.

anneofavonlea1The Dogwood Summer Youth Theater will present the sequel to the story of “Anne of Green Gables”, “Anne of Avonlea” which covers the second chapter in the life of Anne Shirley. The play follows Anne from the age of 16 to 18, during the two years that she teaches at Avonlea School.  It includes many of the characters from “Anne of Green Gables”, as well as new ones like Mr. Harrison, Miss Lavendar Lewis, Paul Irving, and the twins Dora and Davy.
This program is funded by a Fremont Area Community Foundation Summer Youth Initiative Grant.
Two shows, Friday, July 13 and Saturday, July 14. Free Admission. Main Stage. 7:30 p.m.
