We are in for a treat at the Dogwood Center! Join us for a taste of the talent of the Grand Rapids Ballet Company, Michigan’s only professional ballet company! “Nine Sinatra Songs” and “Samplings from The Nutcracker” will be featured during this great night!
The evening begins with “Nine Sinatra Songs”, choreographed by Twyla Tharp,
and is full of excitement, passion and fun! You will be swept away by this glamorous classic danced to the best of Sinatra, including “Strangers in the Night” and “One for My Baby”. Costumes by Oscar de la Renta, the music of Ol’ Blue Eyes and Tharp’s stunning choreography combine in an unforgettable performance!
The second part of the evening features parts from the Second Act of the “Nutcracker Suite”. Experience some of the magic as parts of the E.T.A. Hoffman story is brought to life through the beautiful music of Tchaikovsky and the talent and artistry of the Grand Rapids Ballet Company!
