Weekdays, January 6-26 – Calvin University January Series – Remote Viewing – 12:30
Join us for a completely virtual January Series. You must register before you can watch on your own devices in your own location.
Whether you’re at home, church, your office, the couch, or the kitchen table, you can participate! To receive the link for each presentation, simply click here and register. Registration is required, but it is completely free.
The January Series cultivates deep thought and conversations about important issues of the day in order to inspire cultural renewal and make us better global citizens in God’s world.
Our long tradition of offering a free 15-day lecture series continues, but 2021 will look different.
This year the January Series will be a completely virtual experience. You can watch each presentation (12:30 to 1:30 p.m. EST) on your own devices in your own location. And if you can’t join us live, the presentation will be available for the entire day. The link, however, will only be live until midnight, so don’t delay. We are only able to permanently archive a handful of this year’s presentations on our website, so it will be important to plan ahead and watch the day-of.
The January Series is completely free, but you will need to register to watch. The simplest way is to sign up now to receive a daily email reminder with a link for viewing that day’s presentation. Or, beginning January 6, come back to this page on the day(s) you’d like to tune-in and simply click on the Watch Now button. You’ll be asked to fill out a simple form that will redirect you to the daily presentation.
REGISTER NOW!
In the meantime, read this article, check out the 2021 lineup of speakers, print this visual schedule for your fridge and mark January 6-26, 2021 on your calendar. We’ll see you virtually soon!

April 25 – Sarah Potenza – POSTPONED
This event has been postponed, we will share a new date soon! All tickets for this event have been refunded.
“I work for me,” Sarah Potenza declares at the beginning of Road to Rome, kicking off her second solo album — a record of self-empowered R&B, swaggering soul, and contemporary blues — with her own declaration of independence. Filled with messages of self-worth, determination, and drive, Road to Rome shines new light on a songwriter whose career already includes multiple albums as front-woman of Sarah and the Tall Boys, a game-changing appearance on The Voice, and an acclaimed solo debut titled Monster. Released one year after she sang in front of 12 million people during The Voice’s eighth season, 2016’s Monster prompted Rolling Stone to gush, “Potenza is to the blues what Adele is to pop: a colossal-voiced singer who merges her old-school influences with a modernistic sound.” Three years later, that sound deepens and intensifies with Road to Rome, an album that shows the full scope of Potenza’s aims and ambitions.
$15.00. Black Box. General admission seating. 7:30 p.m. Tables can be reserved with the purchase of eight tickets.
