Neela Banerjee, Deputy Senior Supervising Climate Editor, NPR.
While climate technology will play a central role in limiting and addressing climate change, we still don’t have a comprehensive global framework that will provide a roadmap to achieving net zero. Geopolitical rivalries, political inertia, and policy disagreements threaten to slow down a process that needs to rapidly advance, especially as countries least responsible for the climate crisis become impacted the most. Neela Banerjee, the Deputy Senior Supervising Climate Editor for NPR will discuss how we might challenge our current understanding of the climate crisis and suggest ways citizens might respond.
This lecture will be broadcast live at the Dogwood Center from 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. in our Black Box. Admission is free!
