Bright Star Touring Theatre, a national professional touring theater company based in North Carolina, will perform in the Dogwood Center Black Box on Sunday, July 13 at 3:00 p.m. with their production of Wizard of Oz.
Wizard of Oz is a 45-minute, fast-paced version of the literary classic, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. Wizard of Oz introduces audiences to the comic duo, “Lenny and Mabel” who lead the audience down the Yellow Brick Road to the land of Oz, meeting all of our favorite characters along the way. Gain courage with the Cowardly Lion, take heart with the Tin Man, and find your wits with the Scarecrow in this fun interactive retelling. The performance will be appreciated by audiences’ pre-K to adult.
