Sunday, December 4 – ‘A Dicken’s Tale’ 3:00 p.m. Black Box

Bright Star Touring Theatre returns with their new acclaimed production of A Dickens Tale, based upon the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol. A Dickens Tale is a 45-minute, fast-paced version of the literary classic, A Christmas Carol. A Dickens Tale introduces audiences to the mean old man named Ebenezer Scrooge. Content in a life of misery, Scrooge is visited upon by a variety of entertaining and insightful ghostly visitors who encourage him to change his miserable life. Changed by the visits, he transforms into a jolly, holiday loving man! The show features all the classic characters from old Scrooge, bumbling Cratchit, Jacob Marley, the three ghostly visitors, a hilarious beggar woman and more—all played by just two professional actors. Seen by audiences across America, A Dickens Tale, has long been a holiday tradition and is best appreciated by audiences in grades 1st through adult.
