Center for Performing Arts
Kalamazoo’s Kait Rose is returning to the Dogwood Center after performing last year in
her tribute show, ‘Fleetwood Mac’ with the Band of Thrones. This September she will be
performing her tribute show, ‘Celebrating Shania!’ Be prepared for a high energy show
showcasing Shania’s entire career spanning hit songs and a fun-filled night of singing
along with your favorite tunes!
Kait has been playing guitar and writing songs since the summer of 2001 after finding
her mom’s Alvarez guitar in the hallway closet. By the end of the day she taught
herself the theme song to The Godfather, which made her Italian grandmother very
proud. Since then, Kait has recorded four full length solo-albums in various basements
and attics of friends and family members including All My Roses, Sentience, The Ideal
and Organic Travels.
Kait and her musicians have a busy summer and fall performing across Michigan
including popular festivals such as Blissfest, Shagbark Music Festival and Goosefest in
Fennville.
