“Tied up in Knotts” a Hilarious tribute to Emmy Award winner Don Knotts aka Deputy Barney Fife!”

Did you grow up watching The Andy Griffth Show? It still airs 25-40 x’s a week on cable TV and baby boomers still laugh and enjoy all the quirky and loveable “Mayberry” characters! The most popular being Sheriff Andy Taylor {Andy Griffith} & Deputy Barney Fife {Don Knotts}. The chemistry between Andy and Barney was hilarious and earned Don Knotts 5 Emmys Awards as “Best Supporting Actor.”

“Tied up in Knotts” is a tribute to the career of Don Knotts written by his daughter Karen Knotts a comedian, actress and author. She shares hilarious stories and video clips of Don’s career and about growing up on the set of The Andy Griffith Show. She gives you the inside scoop of what it was like being raised on the TV set and that the show’s cast members were “not anything like” their TV characters!

Don appeared in over 22 family films plus for 10 years he played the landlord Ralph Furley on “Three’s Company.”

You’ll see clips from those films and TV shows in “Tied up in Knotts!’ The tribute is narrated by Karen as she tells her dad’s story as Don’s favorite Aunt Emma and Aunt Bea.
