Mark Lavengood is regarded as one of the most quintessential, modern, American songwriters. His resonant energy and sparking smile light up every stage, studio, and room. As a talented multi-instrumentalist, Mark specializes in dobro and steel guitar. In 2012, Mark was named winner of the acclaimed Rockygrass Dodro Competition. He performed at Telluride Bluegrass Festival, ROMP, Blissfest, Wheatland Music Festival, Founders Brewing Company, and many, many more. Mark will perform with his band for the first half of the show. The second half is a John Prine Tribute; a true icon who’s influenced generations of musicians since making his debut in the early 1970s. Still, some audiences remain unfamiliar with the work of this revered American singer-songwriter, Mark wants to change that as their Prine Time Tribute recreates the timeless tunes from the late, great John Prine.
