SUMMARY:Saturday\, September 27 – Carlos and Audrey 7:30 p.m. Black Box Tickets $12.50
DESCRIPTION:Click here for tickets for Carlos and Audrey – $12.50\nCarlos and Audrey’s partnership began after they met in 2019 and they have been playing together since. They quickly bonded over their shared love of music and began exploring the possibilities of blending their unique talents. One of their first collaborations involved Carlos teaching Audrey a meaningful Venezuelan song\, which they recorded and shared with his family—a testament to the power of music to connect people across distances. \nCarlos’s musical journey began in the 4th grade when he picked up the cuatro\, Venezuela’s beloved national instrument. His passion quickly expanded to include guitar\, congas\, and bongos\, showcasing his versatility and deep connection to Latin American rhythms. \nAudrey’s musical foundation was lovingly laid by her grandma\, Phyllis Jansma\, who introduced her to the piano at the tender age of four. This early connection sparked a lifelong love of music\, leading her to begin violin lessons in the 4th grade with Ella Villa. Audrey’s background in classical music and the influence of her grandmother provides a delicate and graceful contrast to Carlos’s traditional folk expertise. \nCarlos and Audrey bring a unique blend of musical backgrounds and shared passion to familiar tunes and classic Venezuelan songs\, Carlos and Audrey are sure to leave a lasting impression. \nThis concert is generously sponsored by Richard and Sherrie Harris. \nClick here for tickets. SUMMARY:Saturday\, November 15 - An Evening with Nathan Graham and Noah Guthrie 7:30 p.m. Black Box Tickets $20.00
DESCRIPTION:Click here for Tickets to An Evening with Nathan Graham and Noah Guthrie – $20.00\nWhen you think of a singer-songwriter\, who comes to mind? \nNathan Graham says it probably isn’t somebody who looks like he does\, and he wants to change that. \nBorn and raised in Chicago\, Graham meshes South Side Blues with Nashville Americana\, beginning his career backing blues singers at famous haunts like Buddy Guy’s Legends and Kingston Mines. He spent a decade as a guitar-for-hire before picking up a mic to tell his own stories on the stage. \nSoulful and steady\, Graham’s music offers a raw introspective of the human condition that’s both painful and comforting. His guitar conveys heartbreak\, lyrics tell stories of regret\, but his rich vocal delivery offers the remedy. \nHaving brought his songs on international tours with both major label and indie acts\, Graham is challenging the notion of what it means to be a singer-songwriter. He’s driving inclusivity within the genre\, and he hopes to evoke a sense of understanding in the process. \n \nWhen Chicago’s blues-rooted troubadour Nathan Graham joins forces with Southern Americana powerhouse Noah Guthrie\, the result is a tour that promises raw emotion\, rich storytelling\, and unforgettable performances. Graham\, known for blending South Side blues with Nashville Americana\, brings a decade of guitar-for-hire grit and a voice that channels heartache and hope. Guthrie\, whose soulful vocals and Southern charm have captivated audiences from Glee to America’s Got Talent\, delivers songs steeped in authenticity and the spirit of the Blue Ridge Mountains. \nTogether\, they fuse their distinct musical backgrounds into a shared journey—one that celebrates vulnerability\, resilience\, and the power of live music to connect across genres and geography. Expect stripped-down acoustic moments\, electrifying harmonies\, and a night that feels like home\, no matter where you are. \nClick here to purchase tickets. Tickets are $20.00. SUMMARY:Dave Bennett Quartet Swing\, Rock and Beyond - Friday\, January 23 - Black Box 7:30 p.m. Tickets $25.00
DESCRIPTION:Click here for Tickets to Dave Bennett!\n“Bennett is a player superbly well balanced between purity and power. Bennett injects three heady shots of adrenalin that bring the music sharply to life.” – Downbeat Magazine \nDave Bennett doesn’t fit the mold. For starters\, you don’t find many jazz clarinet players who name Alice Cooper\, Stevie Ray Vaughan\, and Chris Isaak among their influences. You won’t find many musicians who are equally conversant with the music of Benny Goodman (the “King of Swing”) and Roy Orbison (“The Soul of Rock and Roll”). In fact\, you may not find even one other clarinet virtuoso who breaks from his Swing Era repertoire to sing rockabilly hits while accompanying himself at the piano or electric guitar. \nDave began his national touring career at the age of 14. He has been a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops (2013) and has been featured with 35 other US and Canadian orchestras including Nashville\, Houston\, Detroit\, Rochester\, Omaha\, Toronto\, Calgary\, Vancouver\, Orlando\, San Antonio\, Jacksonville\, Portland\, OR and Portland\, ME. Some of his annual appearances include The Elkhart Jazz Festival\, The Suncoast Classic Jazz Festival\, The Arizona Classic Jazz Festival\, The Sacramento Hot Jazz Jubilee\, The Clambake Music Festival\, and The Redwood Coast Music Festival. Dave has also opened for Sammy Hagar in Houston\, TX in 2022. \nClick here for Tickets. Tickets are $25.00. The Dogwood Center is located one mile east of downtown Fremont. Doors open for seating at 7:00 p.m. Online sales close two hours prior to events\, please call the box office for ticket availability at 231-924-8885 if online sales have ended.
