DESCRIPTION:Reduced Shakespeare Company Called a “trio of Modern Marx Brothers” by the Boston Herald and “intellectual vaudeville” by the New York Times\, The Reduced Shakespeare Company (RSC) is a touring American comedy troupe that performs fast-paced\, seemingly improvisational condensations of huge topics. They hold the record for the longest running comedies in the history of London’s West End as three of its shows ran in repertory at the Criterion Theatre in Piccadilly Circus for almost ten years. Known as the “Bad Boys of Abridgment\,” the RSC has performed at the White House\, Lincoln Center\, Off-Broadway\, the Kennedy Center\, and Montreal’s famed Just For Laughs Festival\, as well as touring the UK\, Belgium\, The Netherlands\, Australia\, New Zealand\, Japan\, China\, Singapore\, Barbados\, Bermuda\, Israel\, Qatar\, and Ireland. In\nDecember 2023\, Yellowstone (Season 5\, Episode 6) had one of the show’s strong\nsoundtracks. One musician was a young up-and-comer’s voice that caught the ear of\nmany. That new talent was Myron Elkins. \nRaised just north of Kalamazoo\, the 22-year-old Elkins worked professionally as a\nwelder following high school graduation with his sights set on a trade for his career until\na relative signed him up for a local battle of the bands. He finished a runner-up\, and his\nlife began to change. \nIn the three years since\, that experience has led to a massive transformation. This moving and expressive\nperformance will feature Delp’s Mad Angler poems paired with Campbell on cello.\nDelp was an instructor of creative writing at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Delp’s\nliterary works have been recognized and highlighted at Michigan State University in\ntheir Michigan Writers Series. He is known for writing about nature\, especially fishing\nand water.
