DESCRIPTION:Click here for tickets to Whorled!\nDescribed by Local Spins as “a road trip for the ears\,” Whorled transports their audiences around the globe with a fresh blend of re-imagined Celtic\, bluegrass\, French Café\, and jazz influences. \nWhorled is guitarist and digeridooist Thom Jayne\, fiddler Keala Venema\, and accordionist Mariko Venema.  They met by chance at a traditional Irish session; the magic was immediate and they were soon creating their own signature fusion style albeit in relative obscurity during the COVID lockdown period. \nNow in their fifth year playing in public\, Whorled has gained immediate critical acclaim in Michigan’s music scene\, winning two Jammie Awards for their 2023 debut album\, “Reimagined”\, and having three tunes landing on WYCE’s top 100 spins of 2023. \nClick here for tickets. Tickets are $15.00.
